How did GNHIC start?
In late 2015, the Radboudumc REshape Center convened innovation chamions from global leading edge health systems in a workshop at the Singularity University Exponential Medicine conference in San Diego. From the discussion it was clear that many of the challenges health innovation centers faced in embracing emerging exponential technologies in health were similar. So why not take on exponentials together? was the conclusion. REshape agreed to take the ideas away and host the Global Network of Health Innovation Centers.
The founding collaborators all seek a strong competency and confidence in exploring, testing, adopting and scaling exponential technologies. We aim to jointly solve common organizational challenges like policy regimes, legal barriers, HR and innovation KPIs. A core focus of REshape in 2017 is to get GNHIC operationalized by year end.
